Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. We also guarantee that the item you purchased is as described. If you receive an item that you believe is not as described, you have 30 days to initiate a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with any attached tags, and in its original packaging.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@therutile.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a paid return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please contact us at info@therutile.com.
Pricing and Description Errors
Sadly, pricing errors may occur on the site as we are humans. Thankfully, this is very rare and should not be an issue for virtually all transactions on this site. Some items on the site are from a dropshipping company that automatically updates pricing and we have found an occasional discrepancy. We have been able to fix it before a sale occurs. If this occurs, a representative from The Rutile will reach out to the customer to discuss the situation as some items may not be available at the shown price, and The Rutile reserves the right to cancel that purchase. When a purchase is canceled, the customer will be refunded.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom designed pieces and rings that have been sized outside of the size 6-7 range. Items sized outside of that range may be accepted with a restocking fee to bring the ring back to the original condition. We highly suggest that customers size their rings after ensuring satisfaction with the purchase. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final-sale items, custom jewelry, or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Contact us at info@therutile.com and we'll discuss.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
